RiverRunner. Posted June 29, 2015. We rode 690's at a factory ride at a local dealer. Ktm brought in a Semi of 690's, 1190's and a 1290 I think. I too thought the low end was gutless and the front end wondered. Everyone told me the bikes if set up correctly had great low end punch and were solid on the front end.
MILEAGE: 7,144 The KTM 690 Enduro R is a little different from my 950 in that it has 2 separate filters and 2 separate screens that need to be checked, cleaned and replaced. Iโve done a bit of research and hereโs the best way to change the oil on the bike. Iโm going to start with the bike on a side stand with the bike as close to level as possible.take front fender off. now, look up, into the bottom of the lower triple clamp. unscrew the alum. silver 28mm bolt at the center. note the dot on the steering stem. if it's oriented to the rear of bike & at the no. 32, then that's the offset dim for smaller trail dim.
